Anthony Grier has worked at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for nine years. With a passion for digital media and recording arts, Anthony was selected to lead the programming at our Seacrest Studio. Learn more about Anthony, including his background, hobbies and favorite things.

Tell us a little about your background.  I have a degree in recording arts. I was privileged to record a studio album immediately after graduation. I’ve done voiceovers, which are really fun to do. I’ve also worked some cool special events at Camping World Stadium in Orlando and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, like Monster Jam, Tampa Bay Buccaneers games and concerts.

What are some of your favorite hobbies? Listening to music and playing video games

What might someone be surprised to learn about you? I’m a listener. I like to listen more than I like to talk at times. It’s important to listen when doing interviews or getting to know someone.

What are you most looking forward to about the grand opening of Seacrest Studio? Making the studio bigger and better for our patients and team members. The grand opening will only add to the excitement and future possibilities for the studio.

How will the studio impact patients and families? The studio will provide a great outlet for our patients. It will allow them to explore and be a kid! When our patients are happy and enjoying themselves, so are their families and our teams. 

What are three unexpected items on your desk? A LEGO business card holder, a framed picture of myself that was given to me by co-workers 40 minutes after the picture was taken (they surprised me with that) and a “Black Panther” Beanie Baby. I didn’t know they still made Beanie Babies.

Do you have a hidden talent? I put on a great car dance party! When the music is just right, I can dance in the car with the best of them.
