As the largest and most comprehensive pediatric hematology-oncology program in Central Florida, we provide the highest level of care and support to children and families. Our specialized team of hematologists and oncologists is dedicated to caring for your child’s unique medical, psychological and developmental well-being from diagnosis to treatment and beyond. We are part of the first national effort of pediatric hospitals collaborating on groundbreaking cancer research, including understanding the genetic make-up of tumors to develop targeted therapies. We are expanding the reach of these life-saving treatments by creating the largest pediatric clinical cancer research center in Florida.

As a designated member of the Children’s Oncology Group, we’re able to offer advanced treatment options through clinical research trials and shared learning programs that bring together a wealth of information from around the world. Through our involvement in COG and consortiums such as Beat Childhood Cancer and Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Investigators' Consortium (POETIC), we’re able to continue providing the most effective treatment options available.

Patient and Family Counseling

Receiving a life-threatening diagnosis can be stressful and confusing. The Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Patient and Family Counseling team is skilled in addressing a variety of questions, concerns and needs that patients and their families may have throughout their course of care. Our counselors work with patients of all ages and are available 24/7 to provide healthcare intervention and support for a broad range of psychosocial issues and concerns that surround a hospitalization or illness.
