When a child knows how to swim, it can save them from serious injury, life-threatening conditions and drowning. The Safe Start Program combines swimming lessons with lifesaving skills so your child feels safe, secure and confident in the water.
Offered in partnership with the YMCA of Central Florida, this program has helped thousands of kids enter the water safely since 1999. Think your child is too young? Children as young as 6 months old can benefit from learning self-rescue techniques. Lessons are tailored to the skill level of each student by a Safe Start/ISR-certified instructor, so you never have to worry about keeping up or feeling pressured to do “too much, too fast.”
