Nationally Recognized Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic
Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a genetic condition that causes benign (noncancerous) tumors to form on a child's organs. This complex condition can affect a child’s brain, heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, skin and eyes. The tumors may cause neurological symptoms as they grow, including seizures, developmental delays and other disabilities. At Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, our team offers compassionate, comprehensive care for children up to 21 years of age with tuberous sclerosis.
We are nationally recognized by the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Alliance (TSC Alliance) as a designated Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic for effectively treating TSC while meeting national standards of excellence. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer is one of the only designated clinics in Central Florida.
Our services include:
- Diagnosis of TSC
- Comprehensive management of seizures and epilepsy, including epilepsy surgery, Ketogenic diets and other forms of treatment
