Bio
Valeria Montiel is a registered dietitian (RD) with the Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She helps patients meet their individual nutrition needs to maintain optimal health, and her expertise includes:
- Celiac disease
- Enteral nutrition management
- Childhood obesity counseling
- Feeding difficulties
Valeria believes in promoting balanced nutrition, a positive relationship with food and sustainable habits through a health at every size approach. Her goal is for patients to feel supported, empowered and confident while navigating complex gastrointestinal conditions.
Valeria’s Training
Valeria earned an associate degree at Valencia College in Orlando and a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics at Keiser University in Lakeland.

She is licensed as a dietitian in Florida.
Outside of work, Valeria enjoys Pilates, yoga, swimming, farmers markets, trying new restaurants and exploring the outdoors.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
