Bio
Stephanie Klotz is a certified pediatric audiologist with The Hearing Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She specializes in hearing evaluations and treatments, and her expertise includes:
- Auditory brainstem response evaluations
- Diagnostic hearing evaluations
- Amplification evaluations, fittings and follow-ups
- Outpatient newborn hearing screenings
- Inpatient audiology consultations
Growing up with a sibling with hearing loss inspired Stephanie to work in audiology. She believes her personal experience has given her the tools to help other families navigate new emotions and unfamiliar territory in their hearing loss journeys. Stephanie strives to provide patient-centered care and to establish trust and respect while she teaches patients and their families about the importance of early and continued access to language for children with hearing loss.
Stephanie’s Training
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and earned her doctorate in audiology (AuD) at the University of Washington in Seattle.
About Stephanie
Stephanie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she is licensed as an audiologist in Florida. Her research on spectro-temporal modulation discrimination in infants with normal hearing has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
As an undergraduate, Stephanie was a member of the University of Alabama swimming team and qualified for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cats, reading and traveling.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
