Dr. Ronald Potocki III is a pediatric hospitalist at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Potocki diagnoses and treats hospitalized children and coordinates their in-hospital care with other specialists such as surgeons, therapists and case managers.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and his interests include medical education, wellness in healthcare and underserved patient care.  He advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community as a member of the Human Rights Campaign and the American Military Partners Association.

Dr. Potocki’s Training

Dr. Potocki received his medical training at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Virginia Campus, where he was recognized as an outstanding pediatric scholar.  He completed both his internship and residency in pediatrics at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia, earning pediatric resident of the month several times. He also was resident of the year and served as chief pediatric resident. Dr. Potocki worked in the pediatric emergency department at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore before joining Orlando Health.

His work on topics such as elbow injuries in children and oral care for children receiving chemotherapy has appeared in medical journals and he is a frequent presenter at conferences. 

About Dr. Potocki

He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. When he’s not at work, Dr. Potocki enjoys traveling, being outdoors, playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
