Bio
Rachael Tarasavage is a certified pediatric audiologist with The Hearing Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders. She cares for adult and pediatric patients, and her specialties include:
- Specialized hearing care and management for all development levels and needs
- Standard audiometry
- Visual reinforcement audiometry
- Conditioned play audiometry
- Auditory brainstem response
- Ototoxicity monitoring
- Traditional hearing aids
- Bone-conduction hearing aids

Rachael has had unilateral hearing loss since childhood and believes she is able to connect with patients by sharing her experiences. She strives to build trust and make every patient feel comfortable during their care.
Rachael’s Training
Rachael graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Florida State University in Tallahassee and received her doctorate in audiology (AuD) from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed as an audiologist in Florida.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach and exercising.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
