Bio
Nicole Couzzo, MSN, APRN, CPNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with the Haley Center for Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She specializes in hematology and oncology and is dedicated to helping patients and their families understand their diagnosis and treatment plan and identify their personal goals during therapy.
Compassionate Cancer Care
Nicole provides each patient holistic, compassionate care and ensures children and their families feel comfortable and prepared every step of the way. She coordinates and manages care between patients, their physician and other specialists. She answers questions and concerns as they arise and ensures children receive a caring, specialized approach as they move from diagnosis to treatment and through survivorship.
Children with hemophilia, sickle cell anemia and other blood disorders benefit from the highest quality of care from a highly-experienced pediatric hematology team. Nicole is part of a center that integrates expanded research and advanced clinical trials as part of the recovery plan. This approach offers renewed hope for recovery and better outcomes, so children can live their best possible life.
Nicole Couzzo’s Training
Nicole earned her master’s degree in nursing from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida. She is board certified by the Florida Board of Nursing and as a pediatric nurse practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
About Nicole Couzzo
Nicole is a member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Nurses, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and Central Florida Pediatric Society. She has participated in a medical/surgical mission to San Sula, Honduras, and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and as a nursery room assistant at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
