Krisann Draves is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She currently oversees the newborn nursey at the Parrish medical center by improving newborn care. With more than 20 years of nursing experience, she specializes in acute pediatric care, helping patients in emergency situations, as well as long-term well care. Her areas of expertise include:

Krisann’s Training
Krisann earned her doctorate of nursing practice at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Her master of science degree in nursing was completed at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
About Krisann
Before joining Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, Krisann served as a pediatric nurse practitioner in acute and primary care in Orlando. Since 2015, she has been a preceptor for medical school students at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, guiding pediatric medical residents during their gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition rotation, and assisting students in nurse practitioner programs.
She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, the Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International. In 2012, Krisann received the Heather Scaglione Award from the Florida Nurses Association in recognition for her efforts to support nursing students.
