Dr. Kelly Chamberlin is a fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeon with Orlando Health Children's Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in managing complex neurological disorders, and her expertise includes:

  • Brain tumor surgery
  • Spinal tumor surgery
  • Cerebrovascular surgery
  • Craniofacial surgery
  • Epilepsy surgery
  • Fetal spina bifida repair
  • Fetal in-utero neurosurgery
  • Minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus
  • Congenital anomalies and hydrocephalus
  • Chiari malformation
  • Spinal dysraphism, including tethered cord
  • Traumatic brain injury, concussion and spinal trauma
  • Microsurgical and neuro-endoscopic approaches for complex neurosurgical conditions

Dr. Chamberlin’s Training

Dr. Chamberlin earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at the University of California in Los Angeles and received her medical degree from Quinnipiac University in North Haven, Connecticut. She also holds a master's degree in clinical research from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She completed a neurosurgery residency at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill and a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital / St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

About Dr. Chamberlin

Her professional memberships include the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American College of Physicians. Dr. Chamberlin is licensed as a medical doctor by the Florida Department of Health.

Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and she wrote a book chapter on spinal surgery.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, hiking, reading, board games and traveling.
