Bio
Dr. Jenny Raman is a board-certified pediatrician and fellowship-trained hospice and palliative medicine specialist with Orlando Health Children’s Palliative Care. She supports children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and their families, and her expertise includes:
- Symptom management
- Assistance with navigating medical decision-making
- Maximizing patient quality of life
- Respecting patient/family goals and values
Dr. Raman believes in putting her patients and their family at the center of everything her care team does.
Dr. Raman’s Training
Dr. Raman earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Texas in Dallas, where she also received her medical degree. She completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
About Dr. Raman
Dr. Raman is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and she is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has delivered presentations on topics involving pediatrics, integrating spirituality into holistic care and connecting with bereaved parents.
Outside of work, Dr. Raman enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, soccer, working out and trying new restaurants.
