Bio
Jenna Wheeler, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is board certified in pediatrics and in pediatric critical care.
After completing a bachelor of arts in biology/pre-med at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, Dr. Wheeler earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She completed a pediatrics residency followed by a pediatric critical care fellowship at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, University Hospital Case Medical Center, Cleveland.
Before joining Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, Dr. Wheeler provided pediatric hospitalist coverage and supervised medical student and residents for two years at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. She also served in the emergency department at Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio.
Dr. Wheeler has co-authored studies published in the Journal of Clinical Pediatrics, and AARC Times, American Association for Respiratory Care. She also has presented on various pediatrics topics at medical conferences. Dr. Wheeler is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Medical Association.
