Bio
Gloria Valencia is a certified clinical audiologist with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Medical Group Ear, Nose and Throat. She has more than 30 years of experience evaluating and treating hearing disorders, and her expertise includes:
- Comprehensive hearing evaluations
- Central auditory processing disorder
- Tinnitus
- Hyperacusis
- Hearing amplification
Gloria believes her teaching and research background and Hispanic heritage make it possible for her to integrate clinical experience and evidence-based knowledge to benefit her patients. She is meticulous, detailed, careful and focused with each of her patients’ unique needs.
Gloria’s training
Gloria received her medical training at Catholic University of Manizales in Colombia. She earned a master’s degree in audiology at the University of Cincinnati and a doctorate in audiology (AuD) from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
About Gloria
Gloria holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she is licensed as an audiologist in Florida. She also earned specialty certificates for the diagnosis and management of tinnitus and auditory processing disorders. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has served as a principal investigator in clinical trials.
Outside of work, she enjoys photography, scrapbooking, dancing and traveling.
Gloria is fluent in English and Spanish.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
