Epilepsy affects approximately 470,000 children across the nation. For many families, treating epilepsy is about managing health day-to-day. As your child grows, you want a team who can address how their condition responds to the different stages of life — while minimizing, and in some cases eliminating, epileptic occurrences. With the pediatric epilepsy team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, you have a partner who offers greater hope and opportunities for life-changing outcomes. Using the most advanced technology and solutions available, our team controls seizures and the side effects of epilepsy.
Our epilepsy program, part of the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence, is designated as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center (the highest rating) by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). This means we’re able care for all conditions on the epilepsy spectrum.
