Pediatric Hemophilia Program

Top Care for Your Child

The Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Program, part of the Haley Center for Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children provides comprehensive, expert medical care to children with bleeding and clotting disorders.

Bleeding and clotting disorders require unique and specialized care. We work closely with you to provide an individualized treatment plan based on your child’s needs and encourage a family-centered approach to deliver the best care possible. Our collaboration with your family begins when your child is diagnosed and ends when they have successfully transitioned to an adult healthcare provider.

Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, social workers and physical therapists. We treat children, adolescents and young adults. Since these conditions affect many different parts of the body, we work closely with specialists in:

  • Hematology (blood)
  • Neurology (brain)
  • Cardiology (heart)
  • Pulmonology (lungs)
  • Orthopedics (bones, joints and muscles)
  • Gastroenterology (stomach, intestines)
  • Adolescent Gynecology (reproductive female organs)
  • Genetics
  • Surgery
  • Psychology
  • Family counseling
  • Physical therapy
  • Pain management

Comprehensive and Multidisciplinary Clinics

We offer two monthly clinics that allow a multidisciplinary team of specialists to meet and discuss your child's unique needs:
