Alyssa McCloat starts each day by putting on a vibrating vest that helps loosen mucus from her lungs. At the same time, she receives a breathing treatment from a nebulizer. At the end of the day, she has to do it again. It's the reality of an 8-year-old girl living with cystic fibrosis.

Florida Today, a daily newspaper based in Brevard County, featured Alyssa in a story about life with CF. The story also included comments from Dr. Mark Weatherly, pediatric pulmonologist at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
