Bio
Mark Chaet, MD, is a pediatric surgeon affiliated with Orlando Health and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He is board certified in adult surgery and pediatric surgery.
He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a residency in general surgery at Florida Hospital, Tampa, through the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he was named chief resident. He completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center through the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Chaet is chief executive officer of Florida Children’s Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. (Kids’ Docs). He was elected president of the Integrated Independent Physicians Network in 2017.
Dr. Chaet has been a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Florida State University College of Medicine and a clinical professor of surgery at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has coauthored published research on pediatric gastroenterology and surgery and has been an invited editor for the Journal of Pediatric Surgery.
