In 1989, he completed his pediatric residency training at The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, N.Y., and was the pediatric chief resident for two years. Dr. Ramirez then completed his pediatric nephrology fellowship at UCLA Medical Center in 1993. Dr. Ramirez is the medical director for the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Hewell Kids' Kidney Center and has been recognized as a best and a top doctor in Orlando Magazine.

    Jeffery Johnson, MD, is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., and attended Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed both his internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and completed his fellowship training in pediatric nephrology in 2009 at the University of California – Los Angeles.     Shaista Safder, MD, is a graduate of the Deccan College of Medical Science in India. She completed her pediatric residency training at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where she also served as chief resident.     Lynda C. Pollack, MD, is the division chief for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Genetics and the medical director for The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, Developmental Center, a part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. She is board certified in pediatrics and clinical genetics. 

    Dr. Pollack is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the New York University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in New York, and her genetic fellowship program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

    Dr. Pollack is a founder of the Down Syndrome Clinic, held annually serving hundreds of Florida families. She also serves on the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida medical advisory board. She started the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Follow-Up Clinic at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a multidisciplinary clinic for NICU graduates.

    Dr. Pollack is a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics and The American Academy of Pediatrics.
