    Orlando, FL (April 27, 2021) – Multiple Orlando Health hospitals have been named to the Fortune/IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals® list. Orlando Health South Lake was named in the medium community hospital category and, in addition, received special recognition as an Everest Award winner. Everest Award winners are hospitals that earned the Fortune/IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals designation and had the highest rates of improvement during a five-year period. Orlando Health South Lake is one of only 20 hospitals to receive the Everest Award and one of only two in the medium community hospital category.

    Orlando, FL (July 1, 2019) – In celebration of its 30th birthday, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is searching for individuals born on opening day, September 10, 1989. These babies born at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer will be turning 30 years old, which also would have been the late Arnold Palmer’s 90th birthday.

  • 4th Annual Walk For Winnie Exceeds Expectations

    September 29th marked the 4th annual Walk For Winnie, which was again an outstanding success. Presented by Panera Breadâ and hosted at SeaWorldâ Orlando, more than $145,000 was raised through online fundraising, exceeding this year’s goal. 2,500 people participated in the event including many past Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) graduates and their families, nurses and doctors.

The annual Top Hospitals list has included at least two Orlando Health hospitals every year since 2015 with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer earning the recognition each year. Performance across many areas of hospital care is considered in establishing the qualifications for the Top Hospital award, including infection rates, practices for safer surgery, maternity care, and hospitals’ capacity to prevent medication errors.
