Bio
Dr. Priya Sharma is a board-certified pediatric radiologist with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She interprets medical imaging to diagnose conditions in young patients, and her expertise includes:
- Fluoroscopy
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Computed tomography
Dr. Sharma’s goal is for every patient and family to feel heard, protected and confident that their care team is thoughtful, coordinated and acting in their best interest. She also will play a key role in establishing a new diagnostic radiology residency program and teaching medical trainees.
Dr. Sharma’s Training
Dr. Sharma earned bachelor's degrees in economics and biology at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, graduating magna cum laude from both programs. She received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Dr. Sharma completed a diagnostic radiology residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a pediatric radiology fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
About Dr. Sharma
Dr. Sharma is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a sub-specialty in pediatric radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Her professional memberships include the Society of Pediatric Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Association of University Radiologists and Florida Medical Association.
She has served as an associate professor of radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and associate program director for the radiology residency program.
Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, visiting the beach, reading and traveling.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
