Bio
Patricia Butterbaugh, BSN, MSN, CFNP, is a senior nurse practitioner with the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Urology Center. She cares for patients from birth through age 21 and provides specialized, compassionate care for children with a range of urologic diseases and conditions.
Compassionate Care
As a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a focus on pediatrics, Patricia has nearly 25 years of experience caring for children and their families. She understands having a child diagnosed with a complex urological disease or condition may present a wide range of emotions and challenges for the entire family. With sensitivity and compassion, she is always available to answer questions, address concerns, provide support, and explain tests and other procedures.
Pediatric Urology
Patricia is part of a dedicated team of medical professionals at the hospital's pediatric urology center dedicated to helping children with diseases of the urinary tract and reproductive system. Through specialized programs and advanced treatment, they strive to return their young patients to the best health possible and an improved quality of life.
These diseases can be complex and require unparalleled pediatric urology services and testing. A few of these include complete urologic assessment, minimally invasive surgery, pediatric gynecologic assessment, voiding studies and more. Testing may include comprehensive urodynamic and noninvasive urine flow studies.
Patricia Butterbaugh's Training
Patricia earned her master's degree in nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi, School of Nursing in Jackson. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Pediatric Urology Nurse Specialists.
