Bio
Melissa Kingston is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Neurosurgery specializing in pediatric neurosurgery. Her expertise includes:
- Spina bifida
- Brachial plexus
- Head shape
She believes the patient always comes first and that medical care should be a fundamental human right available to everyone.
Melissa’s Training
Melissa received her bachelor's degrees in psychology and biological sciences from Arizona State University in Tempe, graduating summa cum laude, and earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
About Melissa
Melissa is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed as a PA in Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Her community service has included volunteering at a clinic providing healthcare for the homeless, serving as a mentor for young human trafficking victims and fostering pets for a humane society.
Outside of work, Melissa is a yoga instructor and enjoys traveling, reading, running and mountain climbing. She has reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro twice.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
