Bio
Dr. Lora Bojilova-Dor is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist with the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She cares for children, adolescents and young adults with blood disorders and cancer, and her expertise includes:
- Leukemia
- Lymphoma
- Solid tumors
- Sickle cell disease
- Blood and clotting disorders
Dr. Bojilova-Dor believes in creating a welcoming environment for questions, discussion and education so that patients and their families feel informed, empowered and supported in every step of their care. She is also passionate about patient safety and is committed to continuous quality improvement.
Dr. Bojilova-Dor’s Training
Dr. Bojilova-Dor earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville and received her medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She completed a pediatrics residency at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, where she was chief resident in her final year. Dr. Bojilova-Dor continued her training with a fellowship in pediatric hematology, oncology and stem cell transplant fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, which is affiliated with Columbia University. She served as chief fellow in her final year.

Dr. Bojilova-Dor is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Her professional memberships include the Children's Oncology Group, American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Outside of work, Dr. Bojilova-Dor enjoys spending time with her family and dog, live music, traveling, trying new restaurants and working on home-improvement projects.

Why do some Orlando Health physicians not have a patient experience rating?
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
