Bio
Kershawna Curry is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and certified pediatric nurse practitioner-acute care (CPNP-AC) with Orlando Health Children’s Heart Institute. Her expertise includes:
- Pediatric critical care
- Pediatric cardiac care
- Congenital heart defects
- Cardiac monitoring
- Heart failure
- Arrhythmia
Kershawna has been providing compassionate care for young patients at Orlando Health since 2018, and she strives to build trusting relationships.
Kershawna’s Training
Kershawna earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa and received her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree on the pediatric acute care track from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
About Kershawna
She is certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner-acute care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and in acute/critical care nursing – pediatric by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Kershawna is licensed as an APRN and registered nurse in Florida.
Her professional memberships include the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Delta Tau, an international honor society of nurses.
Outside of work, Kershawna enjoys spending time with family, trying new restaurants, reading and traveling.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
