Bio
Dr. Jessica Boegner is a fellowship-trained pediatric critical care physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She cares for seriously ill infants and children, and her specialties include:
- Sepsis
- Respiratory failure
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Procedural sedation
- Ventilators and advanced airway management
- Diagnosing acute and life-threatening illnesses
- Stabilizing critically ill patients
Dr. Boegner grew up with seven younger siblings, which taught her how to care for others and inspired her to become a pediatrician. She strives to protect the dignity of her patients and to collaborate on the best possible treatment plan.
Dr. Boegner’s Training
Dr. Boegner earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and biochemistry at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She received a master’s degree in medical education and her osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Boegner completed a pediatric residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey and a pediatric critical care fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
