What to Expect from Dr. Alvarez Nunez
Parents may be assured Dr. Alvarez Nunez will thoroughly explain their child’s diagnosis, help them evaluate recommended treatment options, and connect them to the hospital’s support services. She also understands her patients are not adults, and she knows how to help them feel more relaxed and secure during exams and treatments. She is sensitive to the fact that pediatric patients may not be able to express their questions and concerns like an adult would, and they need a caring, specialized approach as they move from diagnosis through survivorship.
