Erin Greenup, DO, is a board-eligible pediatric endocrinologist at the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Endocrinology and Diabetes Center. She specializes in endocrinology, providing diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents with hormonal and metabolic conditions of varying severity.
Expert Diagnosis and Treatment
As an endocrinologist, Dr. Greenup determines why the body is not secreting hormones as it should. While most hormones are delivered via the blood stream, organs and glands secreting hormones in an abnormal manner are of concern because they may impact physical growth and sexual development.
Depending on the condition, Dr. Greenup may use one or more treatments, including:
- Hormone blockers
- Hormone therapy
- Steroid therapy
