Bio
Denisha Dávila Marengo is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with Orlando Health Children's Neuroscience Institute Neurosurgery. She has a special clinical interest in congenital brain and spine anomalies, complex spinal disorders and pediatric trauma. Denisha serves as first assistant in surgeries and specializes in:
- Pediatric neurosurgery
- Cranial shape abnormalities
- Spina bifida and neural tube defects
- Brachial plexus injuries
- Spasticity
- Pediatric neurosurgical trauma
- Pediatric and neonatal intensive care
- Family-centered education and support
She strives to create a comforting and inclusive environment where patients and families feel seen, respected and empowered to be active participants in care decisions.
Denisha’s Training
Denisha earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from South University in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Denisha is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and Association of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
