The Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine center offers high quality services to patients suffering from a wide array of respiratory conditions. The Pediatric Pulmonology Division is an accredited Cystic Fibrosis center and offers comprehensive disease management to children living with this demanding disease. About Us
Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine provides an interdisciplinary approach while caring for infants, children and young adults with chronic and acute respiratory disorders to ensure they receive the best possible care. Our practice offers consultations as well as comprehensive care for a wide variety of disorders associated with the lungs. These include, but are not limited to, everything from asthma and chronic cough to restrictive, interstitial lung diseases and sleep disorders. We are proud to have Central Florida’s largest respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) prevention program. This program provides Synagis injections to premature infants which protect their lungs from contracting RSV, which ultimately could make them ill and potentially lead to asthma. Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine also is proud to announce it has become an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center and is pleased to offer a comprehensive sleep center with weekend availability to accommodate all schedules. We also provide care to inpatient and outpatient ventilator- and oxygen-dependent patients who require the latest medical procedures, including tracheostomies and mechanical ventilation. Our interdisciplinary staff is integral in ensuring your child receives the best possible care. Our staff consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory care practitioners, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, medical assistants, front office staff and medical residents.
