Objective
Primary
• To provide a better understanding of the clinical presentation of SFN by collecting data from our patients such as patient demographics, GI symptoms, pain triggers and characteristics, psychiatric diagnoses, autonomic symptoms and testing, laboratory testing results, and any relevant treatments. Specified characteristics detailed in the clinical data collection sheet. (See appendix for all outcomes.)
Secondary
• To raise awareness of this disease within the healthcare community so that better care may be provided to patients.
• To evaluate the health and development of our patients with SFN by collecting medical history data. -
Key Eligibility
Children ages >0 to <18 who have an established diagnosis of SFN based on their symptoms and have undergone a skin biopsy showing diagnostic ENFD and/or SGNFD.
