Bio
Dr. Steven Simonte is a board-certified physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Infectious Diseases and Immunology. He has more than 20 years of experience treating disorders of the immune system, and his specialties include:
- Food allergies
- Environmental allergies
- Venom allergies
- Drug allergies
- Eczema
- Hives
- Asthma
- Immune deficiencies
Dr. Simonte provides compassionate care and aims to address questions and concerns from his patients and their families every step of the way.
Dr. Simonte’s Training
Dr. Simonte earned his bachelor’s and medical degrees at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed a pediatric residency at Columbia University / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and a pediatric allergy and immunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, both in New York.
About Dr. Simonte
Dr. Simonte is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Allergy and Immunology. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and Clinical Immunology Society.
Before joining Orlando Health, he was an attending physician at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and traveling.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
