Mohammed Al-humiari, MD, MS, is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist with the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice. He specializes in pulmonary diseases and conditions of the lungs and respiratory tract such as asthma and cystic fibrosis.

Dr. Al-humiari’s goal is to manage difficult, restrictive symptoms to lessen complications and help his young patients achieve an improved quality of life. His extensive training enables him to provide children and their families the care they need and answers to their questions throughout diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Al-humiari’s Training
Dr. Al-humiari attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, earning his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, master’s degree in biomedical sciences and medical degree. He completed his pediatric residency at Orlando Health in affiliation with the University of Florida College of Medicine. He then worked as a hospitalist for a year before joining the University of Florida College of Medicine to complete his pediatric pulmonary fellowship in Gainesville.

He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Al-humiari has contributed to multiple research projects and clinical trials. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
