Dr. Mohamad Sinno is a board-certified pediatric hematologist-oncologist with the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He provides care for children, teens and young adults with blood disorders and cancer, and his expertise includes:

  • Bone marrow transplant
  • Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
  • Cellular therapies (CAR-T)
  • Gene therapy
  • Pediatric hematology and oncology
  • High-risk leukemias
  • Hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and thalassemia)
  • Inherited bone marrow failure syndromes
  • Clinical research, protocol development and experimental therapeutics

Inspired by the strength and resilience of his patients and their families, Dr. Sinno believes in caring for them with integrity, honesty and empathy. He focuses on partnership, empowering families to take an active role in their child’s care while he serves as a strong advocate and guide throughout their journey.

Dr. Sinno's Training

Dr. Sinno received his medical training from American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed a general pediatrics residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Sinno completed a pediatric hematology and oncology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University/Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland and a pediatric bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy fellowship at Baylor University/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

About Dr. Sinno

Dr. Sinno is board certified in pediatric hematology-oncology and general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. His professional memberships include the International Society for Cellular Therapy, Pediatric Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Consortium, American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, Children’s Oncology Group, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Sinno has served as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials, and he has presented his work at national conferences.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, fitness training, music and traveling. Dr. Sinno is fluent in English and Arabic.
