Dr. Melissa Nicoletti is a board-certified sports medicine physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Center for Orthopedics. Her expertise includes:
- Concussions
- Sports-related injuries
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Ultrasound-guided injections
Dr. Nicoletti has cared for patients in Central Florida since 2021. Having healed from sports injuries herself, she brings empathetic care to patients.
Dr. Nicoletti’s Training
She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Clemson University in South Carolina and received her medical training at Trinity School of Medicine in Ribishi, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. She completed a family medicine residency at MedStar Health Georgetown University in Baltimore and a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Florida International University/Baptist Health in Miami.

Dr. Nicoletti is board certified in family medicine and in sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her professional memberships include the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Nicoletti enjoys spending time with family, swimming, going to the beach and visiting Disney theme parks.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
