Dr. Melanie Capobianco is a board-certified pediatrician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Primary Care Pediatrics. She collaborates with patients and their families to ensure quality care with compassion. Dr. Capobianco’s expertise includes:
- Providing pediatric checkups
- Diagnosing illnesses and injuries
- Managing chronic diseases
- Providing telehealth care
- Counseling on lactation and breastfeeding
- Providing LGBTQ-sensitive care
Dr. Capobianco’s Training
She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Miami in Florida. She earned her medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando and completed her residency in pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dr. Capobianco is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Capobianco was a faculty member at Indiana University in the Riley Children’s Hospital Department of Developmental Pediatrics.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing the violin, traveling, cooking and spending time with her son.
