Malcolm Rosario is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Neurosurgery, part of the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence. His prior experience as a pediatric trauma and triage nurse in the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Emergency Department prepared Malcolm to deliver compassionate care and remain calm under pressure.
Malcolm’s Training
He earned his bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Malcolm then received a master of science degree in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and achieved certification as a Pediatric Primary and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Before pursuing a nursing career, Malcolm was a firefighter and paramedic with the Longwood Fire Department for several years. He is certified in numerous life-saving practices, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.
