Bio
Dr. Mahjabeen Khan is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neurophysiologist with the Orlando Health Children's Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in:
- Pediatric epilepsy
- Neurodegenerative diseases

- Headache

Dr. Khan’s Training
Dr. Khan received her medical training at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. She completed her residency in child neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine / SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Missouri and was chief resident in her final year. Dr. Khan completed her fellowship in neurophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
About Dr. Khan
She is board certified in neurology and psychiatry, with special qualifications in child neurology, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her professional memberships include the American Epilepsy Society, American Neurological Association, Pediatric Neurocritical Care Research Group, Child Neurology Society and American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Khan’s clinical research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she frequently makes national and regional presentations related to her research and challenging pediatric cases. She also frequently reviews articles for journals and enjoys teaching residents and medical students.
Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys trying new restaurants, shopping, traveling and watching Bollywood movies.
