Liliana Gutierrez, MD, joined Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Infectious Diseases & Immunology in 2010. She is board certified in pediatrics and infectious disease.
Dr. Gutierrez graduated from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University, in Lima, Peru, where she received special training in tropical medicine. She cooperated with pediatric HIV research at the University of Miami for one year and completed her pediatric training at Jackson Memorial Medical Center also in Miami. She continued her pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at the same training center and published HIV patient studies.
Dr. Gutierrez was a clinical instructor for the University of Chicago, which involved teaching medical students and residents. She has been in private practice, where she gained experience working in the pediatric infectious diseases field.
Dr. Gutierrez is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
