Justin Adam de Boer, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition. He performs advanced diagnostics and develops treatment plans for pediatric patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders.
Dr. de Boer earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and a bachelor’s of science degree in biology and a bachelor’s of arts degree in Spanish from College of Charleston in South Carolina, where he was a participant in the honors program. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia and subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, in conjunction with the University of Florida.
Dr. de Boer is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). He is a member of the American Medical Association and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. He is a frequent presenter and has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. de Boer’s clinical interests include allergic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal permeability.
Dr. de Boer is fluent in both English and Spanish.
