Bio
Emma Prosser is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with the Orlando Health Complex Care and Transition Program. She provides pediatric primary care for young patients with special healthcare needs and her experience includes:
- Assessing transitional care from pediatric to adult models
- Coordinating with specialists for cohesive care plans
- Providing education to adolescents and young adults with medical complexities
She joined Orlando Health in 2012 and has served as a registered nurse in acute pediatric and pediatric special care units and as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the complex care and transition clinic.
Emma believes each patient should receive individualized care and understands the time and dedication that goes into making sure each one has what they need to thrive from day to day.
Emma’s Training
Emma received bachelor’s degrees in health education, specializing in community health, from the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville and in nursing from Remington College of Nursing in Lake Mary Florida. She earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN), family nurse practitioner track, from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
About Emma
Emma has volunteered with a free clinic for individuals with Down syndrome, served as a group leader for a UF fitness program aimed at lowering health disparities among students with intellectual disabilities and worked as a teacher's aide with an exceptional student education class from kindergarten to 5th grade.
She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as an APRN and RN in Florida.
Outside of work, Emma is happiest when spending time with her family, but also enjoys being in the sun and water, cooking and baking at home and watching UF Gator sports.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
