Brent Golden, DDS, MD, FACS, joined the pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in 2015. He is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and fellowship trained in pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery.
Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Dr. Golden earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery fellowship at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, at Orlando Health. Dr. Golden treats congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions, including cleft lip and palate, head shape anomalies, orthognathic surgery and facial trauma. Prior to joining the team at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Dr. Golden served as a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Golden has authored several papers, and has presented research at numerous national meetings. He currently serves on the board of the Florida Cleft Palate Association.
