Avind Rampersad, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician with The Heart Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He is board certified in pediatric critical care medicine.
Dr. Rampersad earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, where he received a number of academic awards and honors. He completed a residency in medicine and surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, and a pediatrics residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Ohio. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Cleveland.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Rampersad teaches at the University of Central Florida as an assistant professor of pediatrics. He has published research and presented on a variety of pediatric topics.
Dr. Rampersad is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.
