Angela Zimmerman is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner in acute care (CPNP-AC) at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Neurosurgery, part of the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence. She manages neurosurgical pediatric patients in the hospital and outpatient settings. She also assists in the operating room and cares for pediatric patients in intensive care, neonatal intensive care (NICU) and less-acute care units.
Angela’s Training
Angela earned her master of science degree in nursing (MSN) from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, graduating with honors in the major.

Angela is board-certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner in acute care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a certified neuroscience registered nurse through the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing. Her professional memberships include the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
She is passionate about bringing healthcare services to underserved communities and has participated in several medical mission trips.
