Bio
Amy Sloan is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and certified pediatric practitioner – primary care (CPNP-PC) with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She provides comprehensive, family-centered care to children from infancy through adolescence, and her expertise includes:
- Pediatric asthma
- Growth and developmental monitoring
- Preventive and well-child care
- Management of pediatric illnesses
- Congenital heart disease
- Family education and health promotion
Amy has experience caring for young patients with complex medical needs in pediatric cardiac critical care and primary care settings. She strives to build trusting relationships that support children’s growth, development and long-term wellness.
Amy’s Training
Amy earned an associate degree in nursing at Everest College in Henderson, Nevada, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She received a master’s degree in nursing on the pediatric primary care track and her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
About Amy
Amy is certified as a pediatric nurse and a CPNP-PC by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is licensed as an APRN and registered nurse in Florida.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family, exploring Central Florida, visiting Disney theme parks and traveling. She also values opportunities to volunteer and stay involved in her community, especially in ways that promote children’s health and wellness.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
