Bio
Alaina Cory, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is responsible for the management and care coordination of outpatient pediatric oncology and hematology patients with cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, and brain, bone and solid tumors. She also provides care for bleeding disorders and diseases of the blood cells, including disorders of white cells, red cells and platelets.
Cancer and Blood Disorder Care
As they enter outpatient care, Cory is committed to helping children and their families know what to expect as they navigate the complexities of cancer and blood disorders. With respect to each child’s unique medical, psychological and developmental well-being, her focus is on protecting the patient’s quality of life in order to return them to the healthiest possible childhood.
Once parents and caregivers understand their child’s diagnosis and have evaluated recommended advanced treatment and therapy options, she works with their physician and manages and coordinates care. Cory continues to answer questions and concerns as they arise and ensures children receive a caring, specialized approach as they move from diagnosis to treatment and through survivorship.

Why do some Orlando Health physicians not have a patient experience rating?
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
