Sydney Gillen, MS, PA-C, is a pediatric neurosurgery physician assistant with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is board certified (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistance and manages inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients. She also assists in the operating room and cares for patients in intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and those in step down and medical floor units.
Sydney earned her master's degree (MS) in physician assistant studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, graduating magna cum laude.
A dedicated community volunteer, Sydney has provided healthcare to the homeless, participated in building and repairing homes for families in need, and supervised a crisis hotline.
