Ruhonney Omega Howells, MSN, FNP-C, CCRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center for Excellence at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts treating patients with disorders and conditions of the brain, nerves and spinal column. She cares for a wide range of conditions, including patients with epilepsy, migraines, headaches, and tic disorders.
Ruhonney earned her master’s of science degree in nursing from the RN to MSN program at South University in Savannah, Georgia, and associate of arts degree in nursing from Brevard Community College. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN) by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Ruhonney is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Epilepsy Society and Child Neurology Society. She is fluent in both English and Cebuano, a language of the Philippines.
