Kristin Farias, MD, MA, FAAP, is a pediatrician and internist in practice with Orlando Health. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics.
After graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Farias earned her medical and medical anthropology degrees from Harvard University in Boston. She completed an internal medicine-pediatrics residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, where she served as chief resident.
Currently, Dr. Farias serves as the Medical Director for the Orlando Health Complex Care and Transition Program and as the Associate Program Director for the University of Florida Pediatric Residency at Orlando Health.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Farias held an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. She has contributed to multiple medical research projects and given presentations throughout Massachusetts and Central Florida. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Academy of Pediatrics.
