Jamee Walters, MD, is a physician with the Arnold Palmer Hospital Pediatric Residency Group. She is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Walters received her bachelor of science in biology and psychology from Canisius College. She is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed a specialized social medicine track as a student. She completed her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, focusing on patient advocacy.
Dr. Walters is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She joined the full-time faculty of the residency program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in 2015.
Her academic interests include pediatric inpatient quality improvement, resident education, and children’s health advocacy at the state and federal level. Most recently, Dr. Walters and her colleagues worked on a project to improve neonatal sepsis screening.
